Ishwar Pokharel confirmed that the committee, established on Monday, includes four members from each party. The group’s mandate is to enhance collaboration between the two parties and ensure a more cohesive approach to governance.

In addition to this central committee, both parties have announced plans to form similar mechanisms at state and district levels, aimed at supporting local governance and aligning efforts across all administrative tiers.

The initiative, led by Prime Minister Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, highlights a commitment to improve government performance and address growing public concerns over the administration’s efficacy.
