Three arrested with 5.7 kg of gold at TIA



KATHMANDU: Three individuals have been arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for possessing 5.7 kg of gold.

A Chinese national and two Myanmar citizens, who arrived in Kathmandu from Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight, were taken into custody on Tuesday evening, according to the Office of the Armed Police Force Nepal at TIA.

An investigation is currently underway, and the suspects are being held at the TIA Customs Office.
