Scheduled for this afternoon, this meeting is expected to serve as a strategic move to address concerns and prevent further split the Unified Socialist ranks.

Sources suggest that Madhav Nepal’s motive behind the meeting is to reiterate the party’s cohesion, particularly to dissuade disenchanted its from splintering.

There are apprehensions within Madhav Nepal’s camp regarding potential factionalism, with indications pointing towards a looming division within the party.

In a strategic maneuver, there are deliberations to replace Upendra Yadav as Deputy Prime Minister with a member from a fractured JSP faction.
