Unity within the party a most to regain its strength: NC President Deuba



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba said that unity among all party cadres was essential to strengthen the party.

Inaugurating the party’s event organized by NC Kathmandu Constituency No. 2 committee on Saturday, he called upon everyone to move forward with mutual understanding and coordination to strengthen the party.

He directed the leaders and cadres to prepare for the party to get a majority in the upcoming elections and work together towards that.

“It is the need of the moment to work so that the Congress gets a majority in the upcoming elections, and all the cadres of the party should work together for the result. It is necessary to move forward by maintaining mutual understanding and coordination”, former Prime Minister Deuba said, “We are united in building the party without any compromise.”

On the occasion, party’s spokesperson and former finance minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat emphasized that the Nepali Congress should now find a way to stability.

“Under the leadership of the Nepali Congress, it is necessary to find the path of stability and development in order to dedicate ourselves to the people and the country”, he said, “Our resolution is to build an egalitarian society with economic growth.”
