Two projects proposed in Investment Summit get Letters of Intent



KATHMANDU: Letters of intent have been received for two projects that were showcased in the Third Investment Summit held here on April 28 and 29.

Investment Board Nepal’s joint spokesperson Ramesh Adhikari said Soaltee Shivkrim Pvt Ltd, Tahachal presented the letter of intent for Janaki Heritage Hotel and Cultural Village and the Gansu-SS Landmark, Blue Bird Mall, Kathmandu registered the letter of intent for Babarmahal Administrative Plaza Project.

The estimated cost of the Janaki Heritage Hotel and Cultural Village Project is Rs 2.35 billion.

The Investment Board Nepal carried out a study on this project.

A proposal on the construction of this project has been proposed to develop Janakpurdham as a major tourism destination and to expand this area as an eco-tourism zone.

Similarly, a letter of intent was called through the Investment Summit for the construction of the Babarmahal Administrative Plaza to house various government offices.

The project is spread over 30,021 square meters area and its estimated cost is Rs 10.2 billion.

The Board had extended the deadline for the call for letters of intent for the 12 various projects under its jurisdiction.

It is said the pre-feasibility study of these identified projects has been completed and the works on the initial phase of their development have been moved forward.

Various 19 projects were showcased in the Investment Summit for mobilizing investment.
