BARA: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan  Thapa has stressed the need to address internal differences within the party, emphasizing the necessity of consensus, cooperation, and unity to move forward.

Speaking at a dialogue program organized by the party in Adarsha Kotwal Municipality, Bara, he highlighted the importance of resolving internal differences to bring about positive changes in the public’s situation.

Thapa expressed his commitment to determining the party’s future direction and policies in the upcoming central committee meeting, propelling the party forward with a fresh perspective.

He also informed about the ongoing discussion within the party on how the ministers from the party should actively engage in people-centric work in the government.

The General Secretary shared his dedication to effective management for irrigation in the Madhes region, considering the rising population and the necessity of focusing on sectors like food production.

While addressing the audience in Bara, he expressed confidence in the rapid international airport construction in Nijgadh, emphasizing its significance.

Local representatives took the opportunity to make Thapa aware of the challenges faced by the municipalities during the interaction.
