32 applicants vie for Nepal Telecommunications Authority chairperson post



KATHMANDU: A total of 32 candidates have applied for the position of chairperson of the Nepal Telecommunications Authority.

The applications were received following a vacancy created after the removal of former chairperson Bhupendra Bhandari. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology had published a notice on Baisakh 26 inviting applications for the post.

According to the ministry, 32 individuals have applied for the chairperson role.

In addition, the authority has also received applications for other vacant positions, including four candidates for the legal member post, nine for the accounts and audit member position, five for the marketing management member, and 15 applicants for the administration and technical member posts.
