RSP lawmaker announces to open Giribandhu Tea Estate case soon

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Manish Jha has announced preparations to open the file regarding the Giribandhu Tea Estate in Jhapa.

During a special session of parliament on Sunday, Jha claimed that the government has conducted investigations into cases related to irregularities relating to land in Tikapur, Kailali, and the Bansbari Shoe Factory after the RSP joined the government.

Jha mentioned plans to re-investigate the Bhutanese refugee case and asserted that preparations are underway to open the file on Giribandhu Tea Estate as well.

During his speech in parliament, Jha pointed out that some leaders seek credit for change, emphasizing that it is not appropriate to take credit for all changes in politics.

He highlighted the failure to address public issues during the prolonged parliamentary obstruction, mentioning that his party has started voicing the people’s concerns in parliament since the resumption of parliamentary sessions.
