KATHMANDU: In the ongoing match of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, India faced a setback, losing three crucial wickets as the game progressed to the 14th over.

Aakash Chand emerged as a key player for Nepal, bowling out Arshin Kulkarni in the 14th over after the latter contributed 18 runs to the Indian team’s total.

The pressure intensified for India as they witnessed their second wicket fall in the 13.5th over when Priyanshu Moliya was run out after adding 19 runs.

The initial breakthrough occurred when Gulshan Jha dismissed Adarsh Singh, the formidable opener of the U19 Indian team.

Despite Singh’s commendable display, scoring 21 runs, he succumbed to Jha’s delivery after facing 18 balls in 4.5 overs.

Having won the toss, India elected to bat first.

As the match progresses to the 15.1 over, India has accumulated 66 runs, but the loss of three wickets adds an intriguing dimension to the game.
