Gold price down by Rs 400 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver, which had increased last Friday, have decreased again today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has decreased by 400 rupees per tola today, reaching 150,500 rupees.

Last Friday, the price of gold had reached 150,900 rupees per tola. On that day, the price of gold had increased by 1,600 rupees per tola.

Last week, on Monday, the price of gold decreased by 15,900 rupees per tola and by 2,600 rupees on Tuesday.

Today, the price of silver has also decreased by 5 rupees per tola. The price of silver has now reached 1,840 rupees per tola, compared to 1,845 rupees last Friday.

This week, the prices of gold and silver have fallen sharply after the government reduced the customs duty.
