Tribhuvan Army Club posts a target of 133 runs for Gandaki Province in PM Cup

KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club has posted a target of 133 runs for Gandaki Province in a match of the Prime Minister Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament 2024 on Thursday.

Despite the decision to bat first, winning the toss at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground, the Army were bowled out for 132 runs by Gandaki Province in 39.1 overs.

Imran Sheikh contributed the highest of 34 runs while Sompal Kami added 23 runs to the Army’s total.

In the bowling front, Amrit Gurung and Krishna Poudel took two wickets each for Gandaki Province.

Tribhuvan Army Club stands at the second position in the points table with 12 points playing eight matches with high chances of making it to finals while Gandaki Province, playing eight matches, with two wins, stands at eight position with four points.
