KATHMANDU: In a gripping encounter of the ongoing Prime Minister Cup Women’s T20 tournament on Sunday, Sudurpaschim Province showcased their prowess, defeating Bagmati Province by a commanding nine wickets and securing a spot in the qualifier round.
Sudurpaschim successfully chased down the target of 100 runs, reaching 101 for the loss of just one wicket in 14.3 overs. Bindu Rawal’s stellar performance stood out as she scored the highest with 54 runs, while Samjhana Khadka contributed an unbeaten 21 runs in 16 balls to seal the victory for Sudurpaschim.
In their quest for a spot in the final, Sudurpaschim Province is set to face Koshi Province on Monday. Koshi Province faced defeat in the first round of the qualifier match, creating anticipation for an exciting clash.
