KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah has unveiled the statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah in Kapilvastu.

Former King Shah, accompanied by relatives, including Hridayendra Shah, arrived in Kapilvastu to unveil Prithvi Narayan Shah’s statue built at Khairahani Chowk, initiated by Mayor Ajay Thapa of Shivraj Municipality in Kapilvastu.

Thapa was elected Mayor from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

The former king and his relatives visited Kapilvastu to unveil the statue.
