KATHMANDU: A seven-year-old girl named Nandani Kurmi was discovered dead at Marchwari Rural Municipality-1 in Rupandehi.
The lifeless body of Kurmi was found at Islampur in Marchwari Rural Municipality-1.
Kurmi had been out of contact since Friday, prompting concern among those who knew her.
Preliminary investigations strongly indicate that Kurmi might have been murdered, according to the District Police Office.
In connection with the case, the police have arrested an individual for further inquiry.
