Deputy Speaker Rana to visit China to participate in BRI program



KATHMANDU: Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar is scheduled to visit China to take part in a Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) related program.

Rana is going to Gongzhou, China on July 7 to participate in BRI related program.

The Deputy Speaker is leading the five-member team comprising three lawmakers and two personnel from the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

According to sources, there will be a sideline meeting between Deputy Speaker Rana and Chinese government officials. Rana will also address the BRI-related program during the visit.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha is also in China these days.
