Earthquake jolts Bajhang



BAJHANG: An earthquake of 4.1 magnitude jolted Bajhang today evening.

According to the National Earthquake Center, the earthquake and occurred at 6:44 pm local time.

Residents reported feeling the tremors in the residential areas of Bajhang.

This recent seismic event follows a magnitude 4.5 earthquake on November 3.

Moreover, just two months ago, the region faced a more significant quake, measuring 6.3 in magnitude, which resulted in moderate damage.

The recurrence of earthquakes in Bajhang raises concerns about the seismic activity in the area, prompting residents and authorities to remain vigilant and prepared for any future seismic events.
