Son allegedly murders father in Jhapa

SURUNGA, JHAPA: A man has allegedly murdered his father by attacking him with a weapon in Jhapa.

Ashish Tamang is accused of brutally murdering his father, Bhola Kumar Tamang, 50, of Kamal rural municipality.

According to Deputy Superintendent Police Khagendra Rijal from the District Police Office Jhapa, the father died on the spot in the incident accrued at 6:30 am today.

The son reportedly attacked his father with a sword to his head and the right leg, killing him promptly. Police have apprehended the son from a dairy shop where he had been attempting to hide.

A police squad from the Area Police Office, Damak has been assigned to further investigate the case.
