NA aircraft flying to Banglore returns Kathmandu within 25 minutes

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Bangalore in India returned to Kathmandu in 25 minutes after taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

According to TIA spokesperson Teknath Sitaula, flight RA 225 flying from Kathmandu to Bangalore at 2:55 pm on Saturday returned to TIA on suspicion of a bird strike.

The aircraft returned within 25 minutes of taking off from the airport.
There were 156 passengers on the plane.

NA technicians are investigating the incident, spokesperson Sitaula informed.
