Nepal wins the toss and decides to field against Papua New Guinea



KATHMANDU: After winning the toss in a match against Papua New Guinea in the UAE, Nepal has decided to bowl first.

Nepal is playing against Papua New Guinea in the UAE as part of the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular ODI series.

After winning the toss at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel decided to field first.

Nepali players are in high spirits as they have won all the matches in the triangular ODI series against Scotland and Namibia played in Kathmandu this week.

Nepal is in sixth place with 26 points out of 28 matches with 12 wins and 14 losses. Papua New Guinea is at the bottom with 2 wins and 25 losses in 28 matches. Nepal is under pressure to win the matches ahead to find place in top five teams.
