KATHMANDU: Nepal, having triumphed over the UAE on Monday, is slated to compete against either the UAE or Hong Kong in the final of the Tri-nation T20 series on Friday.
Notably, Nepal clinched Monday’s match against the UAE by securing five wickets during the 2023 Nepal Tri-Nation T20I Series.
In pursuit of a target of 165 runs set by the UAE, Nepal successfully reached the mark in 19.2 overs, with five wickets lost.
Furthermore, Nepal emerged victorious in the series opener against the UAE by a margin of seven wickets.
The team continued its winning streak, conquering Hong Kong in two consecutive matches, first by six wickets and then by an impressive 69-run lead.
