 Tiger attack claims life of 10-year-old in Bardiya

KATHMANDU: In a tragic incident, a 10-year-old boy, Sumith Tharu, lost his life in a tiger attack in Bardiya on Saturday.

The incident occurred around 12:30 this afternoon when Sumith, a resident of Barbardiya Municipality-4, was attacked by a tiger while going for a bath at Babai River.

Despite efforts to rescue him, Sumith suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Aarasi Tharu Memorial Hospital. Regrettably, he succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment.
