Who chased women from hotel room last night?

KATHMANDU: A shocking revelation have emerged regarding the unsettling incident where women staying at a hotel in Kathmandu to take part in November 23 Durga Prasain’s mass assembly were chased in the middle of the night.

The individual responsible for this disturbing act has been identified as Binod Rai, a member of the secretariat of Yuva Sangh, an affiliated organization of the CPN-UML.

On Tuesday night, Rai, along with a group, subjected the sleeping women to inhuman treatment at a party palace in Lokanthali.

Notably, Rai, who hails from Khotang, stands accused not only of chasing the women but also of maliciously blackballing Prasai, as revealed during a press conference at the Yellow Pagoda Hotel in Kathmandu.

A video posted by Rai’s group has gone viral on social media, shedding light on the reprehensible incident.

In the footage, activists of Yuva Sangh are seen participating in the chase.

The video captures scenes where women, pleading to be left alone to sleep, are being coerced into wearing clothes.

The activists persist, urging them to stay for just one night.

Moreover, it is discernible from the video that the women had traveled from Itahari to the Valley.
