4 killed in Surkhet car accident



SURKHET: Four persons were killed in a vehicle accident occurred at 2:30 am today near Jhuprakhola in Birendranagar Municipality-11, Surkhet.

The deceased are Sagar Shahi, 27, of Birendranagar Municipality-7, Dipendra Jung Shahi, 33, of Dungeshwor Rural Municipality-5 in Dailekh district, Babin Shahi, 31, of Bhagawatimai Rural Municipality-5 and Rajendra BC, 36, of Guras Rural Municipality-3, the District Police Office, Surkhet said.

Critically injured in the road mishap, the four died while receiving treatment at Karnali Province Hospital in Karnali.

The vehicle (Ba Pra 01026 Cha 9213) was heading to Surkhet from Chhinchu and fell some 80 off the road after losing control. Birendra Raj Shahi, 25, of Bhairabi Rural Municipality-5 in Dailekh district is seriously hurt in the accident.

Shahi is undergoing treatment at Karnali Province Hospital in Surkhet, according to the police.
