Four fugitives on Interpol Red Notice arrested and repatriated to Nepal from UAE and Qatar



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police successfully apprehended four individuals with Interpol Red Notices within a week, located in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Kuber Kadayat reported that three individuals were arrested in Dubai, and another individual was apprehended in Qatar.

The arrested individuals include Sagir Ahamed, 33, from Saruma Rani Rural Municipality-1, Pyuthan, who faces charges related to online fraud.

In addition, the other detainees have been identified as Yam Bahadur Budathoki, 35, from Waling Municipality-11, Umesh Lama, 31, from Chauri Deurali Rural Municipality-8, and Komal Raj Upadaya from Janaki Nagar, Sarlahi.
