KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel, based on the recommendation of the Judicial Council and in line with Article 129 (2) of the Constitution, has appointed six justices to the Supreme Court.
The newly appointed justices to the Supreme Court are Saranga Subedi, Abdul Aziz Musalman, Mahesh Sharma Paudel, Tek Prasad Dhungana, Sunil Pokharel, and Balkrishna Dhakal.
Before their appointments, Subedi, Musalman, Sharma, and Dhungana served as High Court judges, while Pokharel and Dhakal were distinguished senior advocates.
The parliamentary hearing committee greenlit their nominations earlier today, clearing the path for their official appointments.
