Truck-hit kills two in motorcycle in Rupandehi



BUTWAL: Two people died when a truck hit a motorcycle in Tilottama, Rupandehi.

Nepali Congress leader and cooperative campaigner Madhav Devkota and Yada Chhetri died in the accident.

According to Rupandehi Police Spokesperson DSP Manohar Bhatta, Devkota and Chhetri, who were going to Manigram from Butwal on a motorcycle, were killed on the spot when the Na 6 Kha 8161 hit the bike.

Devkota and Chhetri were on their way to a trade fair organized by Tilottama Chamber of Commerce at Manigram on a Lu 49 P 2230 motorcycle .

Police said that the bodies of both the deceased have been kept at the Crimson Hospital in Manigram.
