Buddha Air, flying to Surkhet, diverted back to Kathmandu after technical glitches

KATHMANDU: An aircraft of Buddha Air, flying to Surkhet from Kathmandu, returned midway after detecting a technical glitch in the aircraft.

A U4133 of Buddha Air aircraft was diverted from the sky of Simra due to a problem and landed in Kathmandu, the airlines reported.

The aircraft, however, landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) safely.

Buddha Air informed that 62 passengers will be sent to a safe destination by another plane.
