Bagmati govt announces Rs. 100,000 to each member of national cricket team



HETAUDA: The Bagmati province government has announced to give Rs. 100,000 each to the players of the Nepali national cricket team to laud them for successfully qualifying for the ICC World Cup cricket.

According to the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of the state and spokesperson Jagannath Thapalia, the government is going to honor the players by giving one lakh rupees each as an incentive.

Earlier, while congratulating and honoring the players of the national team, the federal government also announced to give Rs 300,000 to each player of the national cricket team.

On Thursday, Nepal qualified for the World Cup after defeating UAE by 9 runs in the last match of the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular ODI series.
