Nepal defeats Scotland by 3 wickets



KATHMANDU: In the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 triangular ODI series undergoing in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal has defeated Scotland by three wickets with 18 balls to spare.

Nepal met the target set by Scotland in 47 overs at the loss of seven wickets.

Dipendra Singh Airee (85 runs) and Kushal Malla (81 runs) became the highest scorer for Nepal on Friday.

Earlier, Kushal had earlier broken the record of Sachin Tendukar’s youngest half-century by scoring a half-century against USA in Kathmandu in ICC World League 2.

Again after  the nine innings in the same event, Kushal scored a half-century against Scotland at the match undergoing in TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
