T20 Int’l Series: Nepal playing against Hong Kong today



KATHMANDU: The spotlight is on the Nepali national women’s cricket team as they face the home team, Hong Kong, in the ongoing T20I series featuring four countries.

The game at Wang Nai is set to kick off at 12:30 am on Thursday.

Nepal is determined to secure their first victory in today’s match, having suffered a setback in the initial encounter against Tanzania, where they fell short by 27 runs.

On the flip side, Hong Kong comes into the game riding high on a commanding 9-wicket triumph over Japan.

In the backdrop of this women’s T20I series hosted in Hong Kong, the participating nations include Nepal, Japan, Tanzania, and Hong Kpng.

Looking ahead, Nepal’s upcoming fixture is against Japan in the final match of the group stage scheduled for Saturday.

The stakes are high as the top two teams from the group stage will square off on Sunday to vie for the coveted title, while the bottom two teams will battle it out for the third-place spot on the same day.
