Nepal and Pakistan enjoy friendly relations: Pak Ambassador

KATHMANDU: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi said Nepal and Pakistan have traditionally enjoyed friendly relations and have developed strong bonds and linkages which spread over a wide spectrum in different fields.

Recalling “close cordial relations so happily existing between Pakistan and Nepal”, he quoted Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that Pakistan foreign policy would be one of friendship and peaceful coexistence.

Speaking at a reception organized to celebrate 76th Independence Day Anniversary of Pakistan, he appreciated the role of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association for the promotion of friendly relations between the two countries.

He also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and development as per the aspirations of people of South Asia.
