KATHMANDU: The newly-elected President Ram Chandra Paudel is offering prayers at the Pashupatinath temple today (Friday) morning.
Paudel is scheduled to perform puja there.
Necessary security arrangements have been made for Paudel’s visit, police said.
After worshipping at Pashupatinath Temple, President-elect Paudel is scheduled to visit Sundarijal Museum today where he will lay wreaths at BP’s statue at Sundarijal.
Poudel was elected the third president of the Nepal on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission is submitting a report detailing the election of Ram Chandra Paudel as the new President to the incumbent President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.
