Transitional justice will be concluded by keeping in center conflict victims: Spokesperson

KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, has said the government would conclude transitional justice by keeping conflict victims in the center.

At a press meeting organized at the ministry on Friday, government spokesperson Sharma said, “We pay heed to the problems of conflict victims while concluding transitional justice.”

The government has a clear policy to forward development activities by preserving cultural infrastructures, she said, adding that a balanced approach to development and cultural preservation is put in place.

She also informed that the government formed a study and probe committee on sales of Ncell shares.

The probe committee was given 30 days to study and investigate the row over Ncell share sales in line with national and international laws and make recommendations accordingly.
