KATHMANDU: Secretary at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Krishna Bahadur Raut has been arrested by the police for this alleged connection with the Lalita Niwas Land Grab scam.
Raut, who was heading to Biratnagar, was arrested at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday.
According to the Central Investigation Bureau of Police, Raut has been arrested for investigation.
Earlier today only the former head of Samarjung Company Lokhari Ghimire and the then-official of the Surveyor’s Office Dhruv Prasad Aryal were arrested.
CIB has arrested 12 in the Lalita Niwas Land Grab case till date.
