KATHMANDU: Two individuals have been apprehended for the theft of a pistol belonging to Prabhakar Khadka, the Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Supreme Court Judge Nahakul Subedi.
The suspects, identified as Basudev Thami from Sindhupalchowk and Megh Bahadur Tamang from Sindhuli, were arrested in connection with the incident.
According to information provided by SP Kumud Dhungel of District Police Circle, Kathmandu, the stolen pistol was recovered in the vicinity of the Shiva Mandir area in Bauddha.
In addition to the firearm, the police also seized seven rounds of bullets during the operation.
The theft occurred on July 15 when Thami and Tamang allegedly broke into Khadka’s residence after noticing an open window during the night.
The authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motives and any potential accomplices involved in the crime.
