Former Home Minister Khand’s attention drawn towards ‘misleading’ news

KATHMANDU: Former Minister for Home Affairs and Nepali Congress leader Bal Krishna Khand said that his attention was drawn towards ‘misleading’ news published and broadcasted in various media platforms.

Issuing a statement here today, leader Khand appealed to everyone not to spread the ‘baseless’ and fake news that he was involved in some incidents where he did not have any involvement.

Khand was indicating the alleged involvement in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam coming to the fore recently.

In the statement, the Former Minister said that news claiming that he visited some places which he did not actually would create commotion and confusion and further assassin personal character.

Thus, he urged the media fraternity not to disseminate such news.
