OKHALDHUNGA: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has asserted that a nexus involving politicians, employees, and business figures orchestrated the sale of Ncell shares.
He alleged that representatives from the government were involved in collaboration with employees and business personalities during the sale of Ncell, a transaction that was originally slated to return to government ownership after a five-year period.
Dr. Koirala raised questions about the involvement of politicians, employees, and businessmen in facilitating the Ncell sale.
Addressing a party event organized in Okhaldhunga on Tuesday, he highlighted the widespread discontent stemming from this issue, attributing it primarily to corruption.
Dr. Koirala advocated for the expansion of agriculture-based industries as a means to generate employment opportunities, emphasizing that this diversification would be crucial in addressing unemployment issues.
