KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane vented anger on what he said a couple of “mainstream media and editors” for trying to push him to the corner.
He said he did not get enough support from the media and stated that he was haunted and pursued wherever he went, and whatever he did.
In a press conference held after the meeting of the party’s central committee and the parliamentary party, Lamichhane complained that he was surrounded by “evil eyes” with bad intentions.
He said that various accusations have been made even when trying to solve the problems of the common people through communication work to return to Nepal from abroad and do something in the country.
The RSP chairman complained that the media of Nepal is criticizing and obstructing him unduly even after entering politics.
He expressed his commitment to appreciate the public opinion, and would not let a single vote cast to his party wasted.
Meanwhile, the party also decided to quit the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”.
A leader informed that a crucial meeting of the meeting held on Sunday decided to withdraw its support to the government.
