KATHMANDU: An incident occurred as a man lost his life by jumping from the sixth floor of Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.

Sagar Mishra, the Information Officer at the hospital, confirmed that the individual, estimated to be around 40 years old, took the fateful jump from the hospital building’s sixth floor.

Mishra reported that this tragic event transpired at approximately 3 am earlier this morning.

The man had gained access to the hospital premises by falsely claiming to be a relative of a patient.

Subsequently, he made his way upstairs and made the devastating decision to jump.

The hospital administration later discovered that none of his purported relatives were actually admitted to the hospital.
