KATHMANDU: Aashif Sheikh has scored a half-century in Nepal in the decisive match of the T20 World Cup Qualifiers undergoing in Mulpani Cricket Ground, Kathmandu.
Aashif scored a half-century for Nepal, who were chasing a target of 135 runs against UAE in the semi-final of the qualifying match.
He completed his half-century in 39 balls with the help of 6 fours and a six.
After winning the toss, UAE batted first and scored 134 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
Batting in reply, Nepal scored 119 runs after losing two wickets in 15.5 overs.
