KATHMANDU: Nepal has been set a target of 135 runs to win against UAE in the T20 World Cup 2024 Qualifiers ongoing in Mulpani Cricket Ground, Kathmandu.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, UAE scored 134 runs, losing 9 wickets, in the stipulated 20 overs.
Vritya Arvind was the highest scorer for UAE with 64 runs, while captain Mohammad Waseem contributed 26 runs.
Nepal’s Kushal Malla took 4 wickets, Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets, and Rohit Paudel and Sompali Kami each claimed 1 wicket.
