Two pedestrians die in separate road accidents



BANKE: Two pedestrians died in separate road accidents in Banke and Kailali districts last night.

Keshav Kunwar, 40, of Raptisonari rural municipality-8 died when a bus heading towards Kathmandu from Mahendranagar hit him along East-West highway in Banke district, according to the Area Police Office, Kohalpur.

Injured Kunwar died in course of treatment. Police have arrested the bus driver Dharma Raj Timilsina for investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile in Kailali, Damber Bahadur Bista, 37, of Mohonyal rural municipality-7 died when a bus heading towards east from west hit him, according to the Area Police office, Lamki.

Investigation into the case was underway by arresting the bus driver.
