Nepal playing second T-20 match with Kenya today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is playing the second T-20 match with Kenya at the Gymkhana Cricket Ground in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday.

Nepal defeated Kenya by 5 wickets to start with a win in the first T-20 international cricket series between the two countries on Friday.

In Friday’s match, Nepal scored 133 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 19.2 overs. Dipendra Singh Aiyri top-scored with 33 runs.

Earlier put into bat after losing the toss, Kenya had posted 130 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Irfan Karim scored the highest 34 runs for Kenya. Nepal’s Sompal Kami took 3 wickets and captain Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets.

With the win, Nepal has taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
