RPP demands formation of an electoral government

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded the formation of an electoral government.

The recently-concluded Central Working Committee meeting held in Kathmandu demanded the formation of an electoral government to hold free and fair elections to the House of Representatives.

RPP has claimed that the previous elections were not fair.

“In view of the bitter reality that the government was not impartial in the previous elections, the RPP demands the formation of an impartial electoral government to conduct the elections of the upcoming Provincial Assembly and the House of Representatives in a free, fair, fraud-free and credible manner,” party Chairman Rajendra Lingden said.

Similarly, RPP has also said that it will launch a movement on issues such as people’s livelihood and nationalism.

According to party spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, the Central Committee has drawn attention to the fact that the government’s decision to send back the State Partnership Program (SPP) has not been implemented.
