European Parliament delegation holds talks with Foreign Minister Khadka



KATHMANDU: The delegation of the European Parliament today met with Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka on Friday.

The Parliamentary delegation led by Evelyn Regner held talks with Foreign Khadka and discussed working together for promotion based on multi-dimensional benefits.

The parliamentary team of the European Union arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday on a two-day official visit.

The delegation is led by Evelyn Regner (Austria), the vice-president of the European Parliament, and comprises Ulrike Muller (Germany), Tomáš ZDECHOVSKÝ (Czechia), and Maximilian KRAH (Germany).

The EU Delegation to Nepal, in a statement, said the team has been holding meetings with representatives of the main political parties to be briefed on the setting up and functioning of the federal democracy for the past six years since the promulgation of the federal constitution in 2015.
