Traffic police take action against 2,840 traffic rule violators in Valley



KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 2,840 motorists in one day for violating traffic rules in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were taken action for violating traffic rules.

The Office said 86 drivers for violating lane rules, 142 driving under the influence of alcohol, 66 people traffic lights, and 175 for honking in prohibited areas, and 35 for not having proper number plates, among others.

Likewise, traffic police took action against 2,335 people for other reasons.
