KATHMANDU: Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that he was shocked by the death of Nepali Congress leader and socialist thinker Pradeep Giri.
Issuing a condolence statement here this morning, he has paid tributes to the senior socialist thinker and Congress leader Giri while describing him as an intellectual personality of Nepali politics.
Dahal has also extended condolences to the bereaved families.
On Saturday, Chairperson Dahal had visited the Mediciti hospital in Lalitpur to inquire about Giri’s health condition.
Leader Giri passed away the same night.
