KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist party is sending new faces to the Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuba-led cabinet by Wednesday.

The ministers who joined the current cabinet from the Unified Socialist are expected to leave the party by Wednesday.

The Party had earlier decided to send new ministers and urged Prime Minister Deuba for a cabinet reshuffle.

PM Deuba has agreed to reshuffle the cabinet following constant pressure from Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, sources have said.

According to sources close to the prime minister, the new ministers will be sworn in by Wednesday.

The party has recalled Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada, Tourism Minister Prem Bahadur Ale, Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhankri, and Labor Minister Krishna Kumar Shrestha.

Meanwhile, Unified Socialist Chairman Nepal, at an interaction with editors on Monday, informed that the ministers representing the party would be called back.
