Minister Khadka traveling to UK to attend state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II



KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan Khadka is traveling to the United Kingdom to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II today.

During his stay in London, Minister Khadka will attend the Lying-in-State of the Queen and the state funeral service, sign the official condolence book at Lancaster House, and attend the King’s reception at Buckingham Palace and the reception to be hosted by the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the UK.

The Foreign Minister will return home on September 21, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
