RPP does not do “politics in garbage”, Lingen tells Balen

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has dismissed allegations of his party’s involvement in obstructing garbage-laden trucks in Nuwakot.

“RPP does not believe in dirty politics,” Lingden said, adding, “It does not do politics on garbage.”

Taking to social media, he said that there was no truth that RPP local leaders and cadres were involved in obstructing trucks carrying garbage from Kathmandu.

Lingden’s opinion comes after Balen Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, posted a status on Facebook mentioning that the ruling parties and opposition parties, including UML and RPP, were stumbling blocks in waste management.

“RPP will never involve in such activities,” said Lingden.
